Women have come a long way recently in terms of our role in society and impact on the globe. From loving housewife, to playboy bunny to Mother of Dragons, women have been making an impact long before it was trendy to celebrate it.
But in recognition of the women who tirelessly work for what is right, for what is fair and who stop at nothing to share their message, I have decided, as part of my blogging repertoire to dedicate a number of my posts to the amazing women who motivate, inspire and drive our culture today.
In solidarity with my fellow sisters I will be writing about the women who have inspired me in many, many ways. There may be some fictional characters thrown in – because hey, who doesn’t think Elle Woods is awesome. right?
I celebrate the artists, musicians, activists and characters who have shaped the world we live in today, and those who continue to shine their light in their own unique way, illuminating the pathway for women the world over.
Because if you think this is a man’s world, then you haven’t been paying attention…
