I’m Elaine, lovely to meet you.

I have started this blog for a number of reasons. Part of the reason is because I have a terrible memory and am likely to look back at previous posts and think “did that really happen?” Another reason is to smash the fear of putting my written word out there to the vast unknown and see what state it comes back in. Mostly because I just want to feel the fear and do it anyway.

I’d really love to be a writer, so this blog will help me get into a routine of writing and who knows, I might even have fun along the way!

I have a lot of interests, all of which I will be discussing (so if you don’t like Game of Thrones references or the odd yoga pose thrown in, walk away now…)

I may also refer to my family from time to time… busy mother of four, be hard not to.

And! I might wax lyrically about my previous role as cabin crew and how the bug will never quite leave my system, and how I long for travel in my life again… but I’ll only talk about that sometimes, I hope.

I look forward to unloading whatever random topic springs to mind over the next while – this could get weird.
